Day 1: Dushanbe
Today you will meet your driver at the airport. This day you will have city tour. You will discover today following sights as Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. Then you will have a chance to marvel the uniqueness of in National park, you will also take photos of of Ministry of Inner Affairs and the biggest National Flag in the world - 165 m high pole, 30 m wide, 60 m long. Then your route will take you to Central Museum and Gurminj Museum of traditional musical instruments, named after a gifted folk artist. The collection, which today has more than 200 exhibits from all over Asia. The tour of the capital will not be complete if you do not visit the colorful landmark of the city Asian Bazaar. This day you will have a chance to know about the sights and history of this land. Your night will be in the hotel.
Day 2: Dushanbe - Iskanderkul Lake
Today you will make your way to the unique beautiful place of Tajikistan Iskanderkul lake. They are indescribably beautiful and are the heart of the Fann mountains. Fann mountains are mountain ranges that extend in the latitudinal direction, from West to East, and in the meridional direction, from South to North. This territory is one of the most fabulous in Central Asia. On the lake you will have the opportunity to walk along the beach, see beautiful landscapes, take photos and relax. You will also explore "the Niagara waterfall" where you will walk about 40 minutes. Tajikistan's water wealth is great. The country has a huge water potential and ranks 2nd among the CIS countries: it has the highest water reserves of all Central Asian countries with more than 1 000 rivers, 2 000 lakes and 8000 glaciers. The night will be in homestay.
Day 3: Iskanderkul - Penjakent
After breakfast you will kick start to Penjakent. A city in the Sughd region of Tajikistan on the Zeravshan river, with a population of 40,000. Once an ancient city in Sogdiana, the ruins of this old city are located on the outskirts of the modern city. Sarkazm (UNESCO world heritage site) lies downstream from the city on the floodplain of the Zeravshan river. It is translated as "Five villages". Archaeological excavations of the ruins of old Panjikent - a fortress city that stood 2500 years ago-was once a Sogdian trading city on the Silk Road. Today, only ruins remain due to the fact that the main building material was clay bricks. Even it called as "Ancient central Asian Pompeii". There were located a ruler's palace, two temples, markets, rich dwelling houses decorated with numerous paintings, wooden and clay statues of ancient gods. You can observe the remains of dwelling houses and office buildings, the citadel with the palace, the house of craftsmen, and fire worshipers church. You will rest the night in hotel.
Day 4: Penjakent - Khujand
This day you will transfer to the city Khujand. An ancient city located in the Northern part of Tajikistan. Its history spans more than 2.5 thousand years. Alexander the great set foot on this land.It is the second largest city in Tajikistan and has a population of 149,000. En route you will have chance to overlook Istaravshan and its mosque. This city is also the capital of Sogd. Today you will also overlook Cultural Palace of Khujand. This place is known for the fact that the first President was once elected here. In the tour you will discover Central Mosque. You will rest the night in the hotel.
Day 5: Khujand - Dushanbe
You will head on today to Dushanbe. This day you will drive over amazing Anzob pass (3 372 m) and tunnel of Isticlol. This is one of the most charming roads of Tajikistan, you will have a chance to admire the landscapes and take photos. You will spend the night in the hotel.
Day 6: Dushanbe - Airport
In the morning is transfer to airport.
