Day 1: Dushanbe
This day you will meet your driver at the airport. Then you will be transferred to the capital Dushanbe. This day is devoted to a sightseeing tour. You are going to explore following landmarks: Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. Today you will also travel to National park where you will have a chance to take photos of Ministry of Inner Affairs and the biggest National Flag in the world. Then you will also explore Central Museum. During the tour you will discover Gurminj Museum of traditional musical instruments. The tour will not be complete without a visit to the Asian Bazaar, where you will feel the magnificent atmosphere of the country. There are you can take colorful photos. This day you will see the major attractions of the country. The overnight is in the hotel.
Day 2: Dushanbe - Khoburubot - Kalai Khum
Adventure takes you today to Kalai Khum village, where you will drive along the enchanting mountain road. This day you will travel through high Khoburubot Pass (3 252) which is called as Western Pamir Tract. You will transfer through the vivid river valley and fascinating gorges in the surroundings, this day you will have a chance to take pictures for the memory. Today you will also observe the local people feel their way of life. Tajiks are kind and hospitable people, they will always help and find a common language. By nature, they are hardworking and economic. The country carefully preserves its traditions and customs and passes them on from generation to generation. Travel to Tajikistan is interesting for those who like active recreation, walking and having fun. You will rest the night in a home stay to see the way of local people's life.
Day 3: Kalai Khum - Khorog
After breakfast you will transfer to fascinating Khorog. It is located at an altitude of 2,000 meters above sea level, near the border with Afghanistan. The famous Pamir highway runs through the Central part of Khorog. This indescribably beautiful place was formed in a canyon and is surrounded not only by high rocks, but also by ancient trees. Due to its location, Khorog is protected from strong mountain winds, and in summer it is warm and sunny. Along the way you will have an opportunity to meet the locals. According to some sources, the Pamir people differ from the Tajiks, they have a European appearance, blue eyes and light skin. The Pamirs are breathtaking panoramas, scales, heights, and expanses. Different air, weather, nature.The night is spend in the guesthouse.
Day 4: Khorog - Yashil Kul Lake - Bulunkul Lake
This day you will hit re road to magnificently beautiful lakes of Tajikistan Yashil Kul and Bulunkul (Blue lakes), located in the Alichur valley of the Gorno - Badakhshan Autonomous region of Tajikistan, just 20 km away. North of the Pamir highway. Today we will spend a night near them. This day you will rest the night not far from them. Yashil Kul Lake was formed as a result of a landslide that blocked the channel of the Alichur river. Bulunkul local residents consider the source "Holy". The spring is equipped with a bathing area with a real earthenware bath. In this territory you will have a chance to meet yaks, The animal has a large and long build, short legs, which are visible hooves, looks like a bull. They also give milk like cows and people also eat meat. En route you will have a chance to transfer over vivid Koitezak pass (4 271 m). Your night will be in a homestay.
Day 5: Bulunkul - Khorog
After breakfast you will head on to Khorog. This day you will transfer along Pamir Highway, known as M41 Pamir Tract. Secretly built in 1894 by the Russian army, the wheeled road has a length of more than 700 km. It is one of the highest roads in the world. You will drive today over magnificent mountains and passes that are more than 4 000 meters above sea level. Mountain topography and climate diversity determine the richness and uniqueness of the forms of vegetation in Tajikistan. The mountain area is home to such unique animals as Turkestan rat, tiger-cat, grizzly bear, badger, stoat, fox, grey and red wolves. The unsurpassed Pamir mountains are inhabited by Marco Polo sheep, Marco Polo sheep live at high altitude, but they are very secretive and well camouflaged due to the color of their fur and unique snow leopard. You will rest the night in the guesthouse.
Day 6: Khorog - Kalai Khum
You will direct from Khorog to Kalai Khum the same way as you had previously. The road is surrounded by high mountains of more than 6000 meters and it was only possible to build a single road. Traveling through the unsurpassed Pamir, travelers have a unique chance to admire nature, take photos, and learn a lot about the history, ethnography, and folklore of the country. Tajikistan attracts with extreme routes on the "roof of the world", exploring deep gorges and high-altitude villages. En route you will break discover small settlements and talk with locals and feel the atmosphere of their life. The people of the villages are settled on both sides of the river in narrow mountain valleys. You will have a chance to overlook Afghanistan country settlements. You will spend the night in a home stay.
Day 7: Kalai Khum - Norak - Dushanbe
Today you will head on to the capital Dushanbe. This day you will complete travelling along Afghanistan border. You will pass through the amazing Shuraba pass (2 267 m). You will be surprised by the mesmerizing roof of the world Pamir Mountains. A lot of travelers and explorers such as Marco Polo, Hsuan Tsang, Mirza Muhammad Haidar wanted to discover celestial highlands the Pamirs. This day you will also have a chance to take photos of this mountains and open new horizons of the wild nature. During the way you will transfer along Pyanj River. It is a river that flows on the border between Afghanistan and Tajikistan. Its length is 921 kilometers. Many travelers who have managed to travel in the Pamirs call these mountains the oceans of the white and blue mountains. Today you will observe Norak water reservoir that is called Tajik Sea. You will spend the night in the hotel.
