Day 1: Nur Sultan city
Today you will transfer to Nur-Sultan. In course of the tour you will be able to spend an exciting time exploring not only modern buildings, but also historical sights of the country. This day you will have a city tour of the modern capital, which became in 1997. You will start with the Constitution Square, where the first President Nursultan Nazarbayev issued a decision to move the capital from Almaty to Astana. This place is surrounded by multi-storey buildings, where residents can constantly admire its beauty. In course of the tour you will visit Museum of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan* it has established itself as an authoritative research, educational and cultural center, which has become one of the attractions of the country's capital. Today you will see the beautiful Khan Shatyr shopping center, which is famous for its architecture and the largest tent in the world. After you will move to the Astana-Baiterek monument, where you will have a chance to overlook the picturesque landscapes of the city. Day 2: Nur Sultan - Borovoe - Nur Sultan
This day you will have an adventure to Burabai National park (Borovoe). Protected resort area Borovoe, in Kazakh - Burabay. This unique corner of Central Kazakhstan is located on the Kokshetau hill, which is called Kazakhstan Switzerland for its beautiful views, numerous lakes and climate. In the center of the hill are low mountains with an average height of 400-500 meters. The highest peak is Kokshetau mountain with a height of 947 meters above sea level. Borovoe national nature Park is located here, which has forests, Sands, valleys and mountain ranges. The combination of mountain landscape, coniferous forests and lakes creates a unique climate here. After arrival you will observe the real beauty of the Burabay and Zheke-Batyr mountains. On Abylaykhan Valley you will contemplate at Ush-kyz, Ok-Zhetpes rocks and Kokshetau mountain the magnificent natural sites of Kazakhstan. After that you will also have a hiking on Bolektau mountain, where you will admire the picturesque view of the Borovoe lake and Zhumbaktas rock. You will rest the night in the hotel.
Day 3: Nur Sultan - Almaty
After breakfast you will drive to the International Nur-Sultam airport, transfer to the green city Almaty by domestic flight. After arrival you will have a sightseeing tour. Today you will visit not only historical places but also modern ones. The tour will open the Green Bazaar, it is located in the Medeu district of the city and is recognized as a city landmark. Here you can buy fresh herbs, fruits, vegetables, meat, nuts all year round. You will continue tour with one of the enchanting Almaty parks - Panfilov Park, monument of history and architecture, founded in the second half of the XIX century. Day 4: Almaty - Issyk - Almaty
Today you will head on to the most fascinating places of Issyk Gorg, the name Issyk comes from the Kazakh word Esik - "door, narrow gorge, gorge". And the Kazakhs of these places used to call it Zhasyl-Kollies. En route you will you will have a chance to know closer the history and explore the vivid nature, you will also visit the burial mounds of Saka period, where was the striking discovery made "Golden Man", it has become a symbol of the country and is one of the most striking finds in the country. Then you will explore the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "ISSYK", there you will contemplate at the expositions that belongs to the history and culture of the Saka period, including a copy of Golden Man and golden items, ancient ceramics, weapon, elements of horse equipment, as well as the model of Saka burial mound. After you will get to picturesque mountain lake Issyk, beautiful nature and the ability to change the color of the water depending on the weather. But lake Issyk has a sad history of its origin. In 1963, a mountain collapse occurred, as a result of which a mudflow hit the town of Issyk and claimed thousands of lives. The incredible nature around the lake attracts more and more tourists every year, who are happy to explore the mountain trails. Around lake Issyk there are dense forests, towering inaccessible rocks that give travelers cheerfulness and vitality. You will have a chance to have a picnic near the lake and enjoy the nature. Then you will direct to the hotel for overnight.
Day 5: Almaty - Charyn Canyon - Almaty
This day you will travel to amazing place Charyn canyon. To get to the canyon will take about 3 hours. While you are getting to the canyon, you will have an exciting trip, in which you will get acquainted with the history and culture of Kazakhstan, learn a lot of interesting facts and events, take photos, and learn more about the traditions and customs of the country. En route you will be offered to visit the local museum of traditional decorative and applied arts and crafts. After arrival to the canyon you will see beautiful landscapes and admire the charming nature. Then you will go down stairs to the lowest layer of the canyon, after you will stroll around 2 km via the maze of the Castles Valley which is very attractive for its interesting forms, reminiscent of fairy-tale towers, castles, created many millions of years ago by nature. Traveling down the canyon, you will see the beautiful nature that has given this area a unique flora and fauna. You will get down to the Charyn river, where there is an oasis with summer cafes and yurts, portable dwellings for nomads. After a short rest, you can move to the next beautiful panorama of the canyon and see the magnificent views. After completing the tour, you will go to the hotel for an overnight stay.
