Day 1: Dushanbe - Hissor - Dushanbe
Today you will have an interesting tour in the capital. You will start from Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. Then you will head on to National park where you will roam and take pictures of Ministry of Inner Affairs and contemplate at the biggest National Flag in the world - 165 m high pole, 30 m wide, 60 m long. Today you will also explore Central Museum, after exploration the capital you will transfer 35 km to visit Hissor fortress (VII-XVII centuries). the Palace of one of Bukhara Emirate Becks. The fortress with walls 1 m thick, with loopholes for guns and guns rose on the slope of a high hill and was guarded by protectors. There was a pool and garden inside. Palace square with a caravanserai and a lot of shops was bustling in front of the fortress. Not far from the fortress are located two imposing towers, not much has survived of the fortress. Day 2: Dushanbe - Khoburubot - Kalai Khum
This day you will transfer to Kalai Khum village through spectacular mountain road. The tour route will lead you along high Khoburubot Pass (3 252) which also called as Western Pamir Tract. You will pass and observe unique vivid views of river valley and picturesque gorges in the vicinities, you will have a chance to make stops, relax, and take photos of virgin nature mountains and crystal rivers. You will meet in the tour small villages and communicate with local residents. The country is famous for its incredibly beautiful nature, hospitality and respect for nature. The Tajiks themselves are kind and hard-working. You will learn about folklore, songs and oral folk art of Tajikistan. You will spend the night in the home stay where you will immerse into the atmosphere of national flavor.
Day 3: Kalai Khum - Khorog
After breakfast you will lead to Khorog. It is located at the bottom of a deep gorge at an altitude of 2200 meters near the confluence of the Gunt river with the Panj (Panch), 525 kilometers from the city of Dushanbe - the capital of Tajikistan. En route you will communicate with Pamir people. Most often, this nation is confused with the Tajiks, but they are completely different in appearance, and historically, and mentally. The Pamir people consist of many nationalities United by a common origin, customs and traditions, religion and history. The usually have blonde hair, fair skin and blue eyes. Pamir is a large mountain system in southern Asia and extremely beautiful mountains with the highest peaks. You will rest the night in a guesthouse.
Day 4: Khorog - Kalai Khum
Today you will take the same route from Khorog to Kalai Khum as before. This road is so harsh that it was only possible to build 1 road here, since the mountains here are higher than 6000 meters. As you travel through the Pamirs, you will have the opportunity to discover the beauty of the heavenly mountains, learn about Ethnography and history, how life began, see the mysterious people who are different from others, and have a great time relaxing and looking at the scenery. En route you will have a chance to visit local families communicate with them and get to know about their way of life. There dwellings on the both side of the river in narrow mountain valleys. Today you will also see Afghan stony villages and gardens. You will spend the night in a home stay.
Day 5: Kalai Khum - Norak - Dushanbe
Today will have a trip to capital of Tajikistan Dushanbe. This is the last day of travelling along Afghanistan border. You will transfer today via spectacular Shuraba pass (2 267 m). You will be amazed by the interesting natural sights of Pamir Mountains. The unique nature of the Pamirs has always interested researchers and travelers such as: Marco Polo, Hsuan Tsang, Mirza Muhammad Haidar. This harsh mountain region is the birthplace of an ancient people, about which almost nothing is known. Today you have also chance to explore the real masterpiece of nature. You will drive today along Pyanj River it flows in a narrow valley almost along the entire Afghan-Tajik border. Travelers who have seen the Pamirs call the mountains blue and the blue ocean. This day you will also explore Norak water reservoir that has the name as Tajik Sea. You will spend the night in the hotel.
