If you want to see something beautiful and unusual you should visit Kyrgyzstan. You can not imagine how many places you are going to see! During your tour you will visit ancient Burana Tower, the second largest lake in the world Issyk-Kul; also it includes visiting of the ancient Tash Rabat Caravanserai (Stone Castle), primeval stone inscriptions, churches, mosques and many others places of interest. Kyrgyzstan is the place of prestine nature and deep traditions. Here you will merge into beauty and peace of our nature and ancient traditions.
Tour summary:
Day 1: Bishkek city
After arrival in Kyrgyzstan you will be met by our tour -guide at Manas International Airport and accompanied to the Bishkek City (30 min. drive), where you have breakfast. As soon as we are in Bishkek you will be shown our capital. You will visit central Ala-Too Square, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Victory Square, the Historical Museum, National philharmonic, Oriental Bazaar, Fine Art Museum and many others places of interest. National dinner will be at 8 p.m. You will stay for a night in the rooms of Hotel ****
Day 2: Bishkek - Chon Kemin valley
You will have breakfast at 8 a.m.Then you will be transferred to Chon Kemin valley (120km) by car. On the way visiting of Burana Tower (built in 10 century) and an open air museum of Balbans (stone warriors). After having a traditional lunch you will have a short excursion in Issyk-Ata gorge. 7 o'clock is arrival in Ashu guest house and there you will be served dinner.
Day 3: Chong Kemin - Son Kul Lake
In the morning we will start our way to picturesque Son -Kul Lake the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan. Lunch will be taken on the way. Son Kul Lake is surrounded by mountains and it is located at a height of 3013 meters asl. Since ancient times Kyrgyz nomads had been visited this wonderful area with their families to rest and relax. Shepherds of Naryn region come to the lake to use it as a pastureland. After our arrival, you will be free to explore and enjoy the pristine nature of the lake and its surroundings .You will have traditional dinner in traditional Kyrgyz dwelling yurt and there you will spend a night. It is made of a wooden skeleton, covered with felt coverings. Yurts are built without nails.
Day 4: Son Kul Lake
Breakfast time is 8 o'clock. Today you have free time at Son-Kul Lake and you can to explore its nature on your own. Here you also can have horse back riding trip, or just calm atmosphere. Lunch will be served at 2 pm. Then you will see also ancient petrogliphs and ritual stones of shamans. It is a great chance to get acquainted with nomadic traditions and culture. National dinner will be served in traditional nomadic houses - yurts. You will spend the night in yurts as nomads do.
Day 5: Son Kul Lake - At Bashi
After breakfast we leave the Guesthouse at 8 a.m. and go to the At Bashi valley (200km). You will be carried away by the amazing scenery offered through views the untouched nature. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. After that you will stay for the night in yurts.
Day 6: At Bashi - Tash Rabat Caravanserai (Stone castle)
After packing your backpacks, breakfast time is 8 a.m. Then we go to the Tash Rabat- Caravanserai on the Great Silk Road (Stone Castle built 14th century). The building is a unique one. Tash Rabat is located at the very center of Tian Shan Mountains; it has no analogue in the whole world, as it was made of stones and furthermore it was built inside a mountain at a height 3200 m above sea level. In total there are 31 rooms in the mountain. There are also underground prison cells for ancient thieves. National dinner will be served at 7 o'clock. You will overnight in yurts near by the Tash Rabat caravanserai.
Day 7: Tash Rabat - Kochkor valley
After a strengthening breakfast you will be transferred to Kochkor village (185 km). We will visit Kyrgyz family which makes national carpets at the Kochkorka village. There you can participate in the process of making them and you can create your own variant of carpet. . You will have a traditional dinner with a local family, accompanied by a special national music performance. You will overnight in the guest house of Kochkorka village.
Day 8: Kochkor valley - Tamga village
Breakfast time is 8 o'clock.Today you will go to the pearl of our country Issik-Kul lake (200 km).It is second largest mountainous lake in the world (1608 m.above sea level). On the way you will drive through the gorgeous valley and you will pass the Orto Tokoi reservoir. As soon as we are in Tamga village you will have a rest on the southern beach of the lake where you can lie on the warm sand or swim in the lake. Thanks to the salty water, Lake Issyk Kul possesses curative qualities. Dinner time is 7 p.m. in Tamga Guesthouse, where you will stay for the night.
Day 9: Tamga - Karakol
You will have breakfast at 8 a.m. Then you have free time to swim in the lake till 12 pm. Afterwards, you will start your trip to Karakol city by car (50km). You will take lunch in the Karakol. The tour includes the visit of the Dungan mosque built in Chinese style without using a single metal nail. This will be followed by the visit of an old wooden Orthodox Church. Later, you will visit the museum of M.V. Prejvalsky, one of the world's greatest explorers. His most significant achievements were the crossing of the great desert Taklamakan and the discovery of more than 4000 different animals, including the Horse of Prejevalsky. National dinner will be served at 7 o'clock. You will overnight in the guest house.
Day 10: Karakol - Altin Arashan - Karakol
After a strengthening breakfast you will be transferred to the Altin Arashan Gorge by a heavy Russian military 4WD vehicle. Altin Arashan ("Golden Spa") is one of the most famous gorges in Karakol because of the Tian-Shan fur trees that grow everywhere there. After taking a bath in thermal mineral springs (there are some special little cabins) you will be having lunch in the gorge. Afterwards you will have 1 hour hiking in the gorge and then you will be transferred to the city. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. You will overnight in the guest house.
Day 11: Karakol - Cholpon Ata
The day you will start with breakfast at 8 a.m. After the breakfast you will be driven to Cholpon Ata city along the northern shore of the sparkling pearl of Central Asia - Issyk-Kul Lake (120km). On the way, we will make a short stop to give you chance to visit ancient stone inscriptions (dating back to 800 B.C.), including the local museum. You will have a second stop during the trip at 12 o'clock, where you can enjoy lunch in a relaxed atmosphere, before continuing our way to Karakol city along the northern shore of the sparkling pearl of Central Asia. You have a one hour cruise on a steam boat. Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. in a Hotel, where you will also spend the night.
Day 12: Cholpon Ata - Bishkek
Breakfast time is 8 o'clock.Free time on the beach till 11 o'clock. After that you will be transferred to Bishkek city (280km) by car through a stunning Boom Gorge. Farewell dinner is at 7 p.m. Rooms for you will be reserved in Hotel****
Day 13: Bishkek - Europe
Your tour guide meets you at the hotel at arranged time and accompanies you to International Airport Manas according to the time of you flight.
